The Car
You get much better service from the state troopers if you have a military haircut and a NRA sticker than you do if you have long hair and a "Question Authority" bumper sticker.
I know this because the State Troopers and friends have been falling all over themselves to help me out for the past three hours while I've been stuck on the side of I-66. After the first two hours, you get used to the noise and feel of cars whizzing by just three feet away at 65+ mph. It's a good thing I packed a wife-beater and some shorts. I was able to work on my sunburn once the weather cleared up.

Posting Update
If I haven't been posting here lately, it's because I've started a seperate blog where I toss raw meat to keep an old group of friends occupied. Once I've built up a critical mass and they're satisfied, I'll be back here exclusively. - Sounds odd, yes, but life's like that.
